SMART Foundation for Community Development has announced a call for bids for the rehabilitation of five schools in Tel Hamis, a town in northeastern Hasakah Governorate, Syria. The tender is issued under reference number 2026-RRMTH-003 and aims to improve educational infrastructure across the targeted schools through a comprehensive package of civil and technical works.

Schools Covered by the Tender

The tender covers the following five schools in Tel Hamis:

• Tel Hamis Secondary Cycle School
• Tel Hamis Secondary School for Girls
• Tel Hamis Secondary School for Boys
• Tel Hamis East Primary School
• Tel Hamis West Primary School

Scope of Works

The required works span several civil and technical disciplines across all five school premises, including:

• Rehabilitation of sanitary facilities and restrooms
• Repair and reinstatement of sewage networks and drinking water supply networks
• Restoration of classrooms, administrative offices, and storage rooms
• Rehabilitation of school courtyards
• Electrical works, door and window maintenance, and general finishing works

Evaluation and Award Criteria

Submitted bids will be assessed against three sets of criteria: basic criteria, capability and sustainability criteria, and commercial criteria, all as defined in the tender documentation. Mandatory Site Visits

Bidders must notify the Logistics Department of their intended visit date at least one day in advance of the chosen date.
